Cookie Policy

1. Cookies on This Website

The only cookies the Luta Sports website sets come from Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used:

• _ga: tells one visit apart from another, so visits can be counted. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_4WVMHMRDW1: keeps track of the current visit (session). Expires after 2 years.

These cookies are only used on lutasports.com. We don't use them to advertise to you or to follow you across other websites. See section 5.1 for details and how to opt out.

2. What This Website Collects

The only information this website collects is what you choose to send us through our Contact form: your name, email address, reason for contacting us, and message. We use it only to respond to you.

Google Analytics also collects usage information: which pages you visit, how long you stay, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link), and general details such as your browser, device type and approximate location (city or country). It doesn't tell us who you are.

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to track or profile visitors.

3. Strictly Necessary Data (Marketing Website)

Our marketing website doesn't need any cookies to work; the Google Analytics cookies above are only for measurement. When you use the Luta Sports mobile app (not this website), strictly necessary data may include:

• User authentication (keeping you logged in)
• Security and fraud prevention
• Session management

These apply only to the mobile app, not this website.

4. No Advertising or Tracking

We do NOT use:

• Advertising cookies
• Third-party advertising networks
• Cross-site tracking
• Retargeting or remarketing pixels
• Social media tracking pixels

Luta Sports does not display ads or track you for advertising purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services:

5.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are popular and how people find us. It sets the cookies listed in section 1. Google processes this information on our behalf; according to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We don't use Google Analytics advertising features.

You can opt out at any time by blocking cookies in your browser settings or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.

5.2 Contact Form (Google)

Messages sent through our Contact form are delivered to our team using Google services (Google Apps Script, Gmail and Google Sheets). This does not set cookies on our website.

5.3 Payment Processors

When you make a payment, our payment processor (e.g., Stripe) may use cookies to process your transaction securely. We do not store your full credit card information.

5.4 Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)

We use CDNs (e.g., Google Fonts) to deliver fonts and assets faster. These services do not set tracking cookies on our website.

6. Mobile App Data Storage

When you use the Luta Sports mobile app (not this website), we use local storage technologies:

• Local Storage: Data stored locally on your device for app functionality (rosters, game data, preferences)
• Authentication: Secure tokens to keep you logged in (app only)

Important: The mobile app does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. You can manage app data through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

We are committed to protecting children's privacy. The Luta Sports website is meant for coaches, league administrators and parents, and does not target children under 13. It doesn't use advertising or cross-site tracking; its only cookies are the Google Analytics measurement cookies described above.

8. Do Not Track

There is no common standard for responding to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals, and Google Analytics does not act on them. To stop analytics on this website, block cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on described in section 5.1.

9. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or app.
